“Would I do this with my own money?”
What Danny does
How does Danny help clients?
Danny helps clients plan and arrange lending so each loan supports the next step. It starts with a conversation about where you are now and where you want to be, then a plan for how your loans should be structured before you commit to a purchase.
From there he compares options from Finsap's panel of 30+ lenders, explains the trade-offs in plain language, and manages your application through to settlement. After settlement, he reviews your lending with you each year, so the structure keeps pace with your plans.
He keeps the practice deliberately small, so you deal with Danny directly at every step.
Philosophy
Why does structure come first?
Most people do not run into trouble in property because they chose the wrong house. They run into trouble because the lending was set up the wrong way.
The mistakes Danny sees most often are:
- choosing the lowest rate without checking how it affects future borrowing
- cross-collateralising properties, so one loan ties up the equity in another
- overlooking offset accounts and split loans when the loan is first set up
Your borrowing capacity is not a spending limit. It is a resource, and the order in which you use it matters. Two investors can buy the same property and end up with very different options afterwards. The difference is usually the structure, not the rate.
That is why Danny's approach is simple: structure first, buy second, scale intentionally.
- Step 01
Structure first
We look at your goals, income, existing debts and how you plan to own the property, then plan how the loans should be set up before you commit. Ownership and tax questions sit with your accountant or solicitor, and we work alongside them.
- Step 02
Buy second
Once the structure is clear, we compare options from our panel of 30+ lenders and arrange finance that fits the plan.
- Step 03
Scale intentionally
We review your lending as your circumstances change, so your next purchase or refinance builds on what is already in place.
Experience
Does Danny invest in property himself?
Yes. Danny invests in property through his own company, including blocks of units and multi-income deals. When a conversation turns to rental income, yield or strata, he understands it from the owner's side as well as the lender's.
It also shapes one test he applies to every lending recommendation: would he do this with his own money? If the answer is no, he will tell you.
His own investing informs how he thinks about lending. It is not advice about which property to buy. Property selection, tax and ownership decisions sit with you and your other professional advisers.
Clients and partners
Who does Danny work with?
Danny works mainly with property investors building a portfolio, SMSF trustees, and self-employed borrowers and business owners whose income does not fit a standard payslip. He also helps home buyers who want their first loan set up with the next step in mind.
Many of his clients already have an accountant or solicitor. Danny works alongside them, not around them. They set the tax and ownership plan, and Danny structures the lending to fit it, with clear updates on where the application is and the aim of no surprises at settlement.
The goal
What is Danny's goal?
Danny's mission is to help 10,000 Australian families build long-term wealth through property, with lending structured around their goals and circumstances. It is a goal he is working towards, one client at a time.
